Resources are organized by area of the metro. If you need support, have questions about breastfeeding, or want to drop in to have your baby weighed, these places have great support for you! Fairview Lactation Services
Staff at all Fairview hospitals and clinics are trained to help new mothers learn breastfeeding and provide one-on-one assistance. Board-certified lactation consultants help new moms and babies who need extra assistance with breastfeeding. Lactation support is also available on an outpatient basis. Offers
easy access to products, education, support and guidance to enrich the
breastfeeding experience for mothers and their babies. Services are
available to any nursing mother, regardless of the clinic and hospital
she may have chosen for care and delivery of her baby.
South/Southwest Metro suburbs (Edina, Burnsville, more to come!)
AMMA provides a free infant scale to use whenever their center is open and welcomes you to use it! They also have a lactation specialist available to answer feeding questions, free of charge, no registration required. Current times are Tuesdays in Edina from 1pm -2 pm and Need more info on breastfeeding? AMMA offers several "online learning University" classes for breastfeeding moms!
